This villa, located on the Adriatic coast, is the result of a mediation between the client’s needs, the problems with its construction — due to the partial inaccessibility of the site — and the aesthetic research aimed to integrate the architectural volumes with the surrounding environment, which is subject to the very restrictive laws of conservation of the landscape.
Thanks to its big glass windows the villa, seen from the sea, seems to disappear into the surrounding environment, erasing any visual impact.
The stone found in the nearby territory, used some time ago for the terraced fields, has been reused for the partition wall which crosses the building, linking it to the external garden and harmonizing it with the stonework already existing in the plot.
